Should journalist blog?
Found this interesting discussion about should journalist blog [thanks for mentioning my blog link in the post].
Personally, I encourage journalists as well as writers and authors to blog so that they can share their experience, ideas and thought.
However, a blog should be just another media for them…
They can disseminate and examine their ideas with their readers… and it’s really a very valuable experience and journey!

Should journalists blog? An interesting question. I think anyone can blog including kids if they want to. But the real answer is who will read. With millions of blogs in cyberspace the real problem is who is going to read all that you write. And not many have the time to read. So finally it comes to not who should blog but who is to read!

Personally, I disagree for journalist sharing his experiences in blog. Why? Because soon or later he/she will be fired!
Journalist like diplomat, state worker, etc, have burden to be responsible in state image. Imagine if all secret of state being get public out!

A journalist friend of mine told me it was kind of weird for him to write blog while he already writes 3-4 news / features for his newspapers every single day. It’s like working in a shopping mall for a living and still taking a walk in a mall (wherever it is) in leisure time, he said.

blog journalism is a new era of sharing and broadcasting information to online users by journalist…like one of this article ive read about Budi Putra which sum up that blog media was more interactive-way than other media do, especially newspapers..I am surely agree that nowadays-journalist should share their information to online-society…I think journalist even could have some feedback to enrich their point of view on how people looking into some matter…
well basicly related to the topic I think that what a journalist do-to share their information-right??(I hope I’m right..)
