Visitting Van Gogh Museum
I was really excited to have a chance to visit Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam! Since I like to paint (also), my short-visit at this famous museum was like a dream comes true.
Voila! I am now in the museum with the world’s largest collection of works by Vincent van Gogh. It houses more than 200 paintings, including many very famous masterpieces.
Seeing and being closer with original work of a legendary artist like Van Gogh is really invaluable experience for me. (So I’m really gonna miss to create paintings again — my hobby a couple years ago… You know, I’am an artist too, but very very amateur! Hahahaha)
A brosur reads: “When Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) decided to become an artist, no one, not even he, suspected that he had extraordinary gifts to the world!”
My favorite Van Gogh’s paintings including The Potatoes eaters, Sunflowers and Wheatfield with crows and one of his Self-Portrait that he signed very confidence!

Although painting is not my hobby, I can enjoy watching artistic paint, especially from the maestro like Van Gough. Someday I’ll visit the museum like you. How about bycicle population in Amsterdam? Did you visit Casa Rosso? Hm…

Hi Hery,
Amsterdam is a bycicle city! I love it. If we plan to stay here longer, bycicle is a good choice for transportation. It’s cheap and “healthy”….

I wish I could ride bicycle in Jakarta everyday.
Besides hot weather, riding bicycle in Jakarta is so dangerous.But Mr Budi, you have not answered my question about Casa Rosso or traffic light area in Amsterdam. Please……..

I’d plan going to Europe Next week for holidays from 10th February 2008 till 19th February 2008 and first visiting will be in Amsterdam so after open your blog and saw your picture at Van Gogh Museum, I think ehm ups I know I should go there too…Either my dad was an artist, he likes Van Gogh as you do !! Could you please to post another visiting city in Europe ?? Thanks anyways…GBU

You are really- really lucky. You had chance to visit Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. I am really jealus for U because I am still in Padang. I do n’t know, when I can visit Amsterdam.
