WordPress builds Posterous importer

At the end of the day, that's all about contents, instead of platforms. So you can choose which blogging platform works for you. Blogspot, WordPress, Tumblr, Posterous -- name it. Just blog, which is good for you. Trust me :-D
WordPress just announced that they have created a “Posterous Importer” for hosted customers. Similar to their other importer tools, this new one takes the content on a Posterous blog and imports it into a wordpress.com hosted blog. The Posterous importer can import posts, tags, comments, and image attachments.

Why I switched from WordPress to Posterous?
My answer will be much more like a practical issue rather than a technical issue. Posterous really makes my blogging activity easier: updating post, uploading pictures or even commenting can be done just via e-mail. That's a really magical platform, I must say.
For a blogger like me, having busy to upgrade here and there and experiencing security issues (like I had when using WordPress) is really wasting my time. All I need is writing and writing --no matter where, when and how. And now, I can do that easily, thanks to Posterous.
Official WordPress app for Android?
So after creating apps for both the iPhone and Blackberry, WordPress looks like going to launch their app for Android platform. WordPress has created a special blog using subdomain Android.wordpress.org, which they have done something similar with the iPhone and Blackberry, and based on that fact my friend, could be a hint that there's a future app coming upon Google's mobile platform :)
I think Android as well as WordPress communities and bloggers will celebrate this upcoming feature. Despite there is no details in its launch date, but seems it will be launched in the near future.
